Why is my GIF so large?

GIFs store every frame as a picture. Lower the width, the length or the frames per second to make it smaller.

How long can the GIF be?

Up to 15 seconds on a computer and 8 seconds on a phone or a device with little memory. Longer GIFs get very large.

Will the GIF have sound?

No. GIF files can't carry sound.

Why are the colours not perfect?

GIFs can only use 256 colours, so some photos and gradients look slightly different.
